G-Sleds Fitting Instructions

Yamaha XL700 2003

The position of the Gsled to the PWC should be distanced at half of the ropes length away, inc the carabineers, which have been supplied.

This distance can be adjusted to suit your preference by wrapping the rope once or twice around the centre ubolt to shorten the distance.

As you can clearly see the angle of the ubolt on the Gsled points to the round cover on the bumper rail. The RF 26 should be drilled 25mm away from the round cover. Be sure to place a hard object behind the area where you have to drill so as you don't drill into the hull.

The supplied RF26, (ringbolt), is positioned at the centre of the black bumper, where the top and bottom parts are joined. This image is of an XL 1200. The same length of bungee is used on all XL PWC.

The correct position for the RF26 is at the same angle as the 2 x side ubolts, which you can see here. Approx 45 degrees. This is further shown on the XL700 image 2.
